  • according to Hottinger (2006):

SERIAL DISPOSITION OF CHAMBERS (uniserial, biserial, triserial etc.) – the regular arrangement of a small number of chambers in a trochospiral shell that will produce one, two, three or more rows of chambers in a regularly superposed sequence in successive whorls.
