ORBITOID GROWTH (orbitoidal growth) is an arrangement of chambers like those of orbitoids s.l.: a layer of annular chamberlets alternating in radial position in successive cycles, each chamberlet communicating in a diagonal direction with its neighbour in the previous and following annuli.
