Definition

  • according to Hottinger (2006):

ADAPERTURAL DEPRESSION - (periapertural depression; cavity; apertural fissure, sulcus, auct.) space formed by a toothplate that separates it partly or completely from the main chamber lumen. Interconnected adapertural depressions produce a canal.
