'''MAIN CHAMBER LUMEN''' is a complete or segmented chamber cavity communicating with the preceding and succeeding main chamber lumina through primary or secondary intercameral foramina. In certain lamellar foraminifera the main lumina are separated partly or completely from a foliar or stellar chamberlet, as well as from canal systems by a foramenal plate, toothplate, umbilical plate, cover plate, or sealing plate.
