Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to inform you that the 6th Polish Micropalaeontological Workshop '''[[MIKRO-6]]''' will be held on 18–20 June 2007 in Gdansk. The organizators of the conference are: [http://www.pgi.gov.pl/pgi_en/index.php?Itemid=1 The  Polish Geological Institute], [http://www.pgi.gov.pl/pgi_en/index.php?option=news&task=viewarticle&sid=114&Itemid=2 Branch of Marine Geology], and [http://www.es.ucl.ac.uk/Grzybowski/gf.html the Grzybowski Foundation].

The aim of the conference is to present results of biostratigraphical, taxonomical, and paleoecological research to a wide group of Micropalaeontologists, from Poland and abroad. More detailed plan divided into sessions will be given after receipt of participants’ initial applications.

It is planned to organize lectures and posters and also a geological field trip. The conference language is English. Conference materials will be also published in English.

Conference fee in the amount of 200 PLN is assigned for covering organizational costs and for printing the conference materials, social meetings and for tea and coffee during the breaks. Travel grants for students will be made available through the Grzybowski Foundation.

The accommodation place is “Zajazd pod Olivka”, Koscierska 1A. The conference will take place in the building of the Branch of Marine Geology (5-10 mins walk from “Zajazd pod Olivka”).

There will be 50 sleeping accommodation at your service:
*14 Double rooms: 270 PLN
*6 Triple rooms: 360 PLN
*1 Four room: 380 PLN
