Applications are sought for two (2) Ph.D. studentship positions in the
Geology program in the Earth Sciences Department at King Fahd University of
Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The studentships are funded
through the KFUPM Deanship of Graduate Studies and grants from the Saudi
National Science Technology & Innovation Program.

effort to investigate the mineralogy of volcanic ash and agglutinated
benthic foraminifera from volcanic ash layers in IODP Leg 323 cores
recovered from the Bering Sea under the supervision of Drs. A. Umran Dogan &
